Full moon in Rockport, MA

Last night I was out photographing in Rockport, MA with Dan Squires (check out his latest work on Flickr). Although cloudy in the beginning, the sky cleared and it was a bright and cool night. It was full moon and I was yet again taking long exposures on the seashore. I'm absolutely amazed by how the water comes out in a 30 minute exposure - misty and fog-like. My camera was setup on the beach, several feet from the water. The tide was rushing in and the exposure ended right on time before the water had reached my tripod. This serves as a note to myself to keep in mind when photographing on beach. We've visited Rockport a few times now. Every time we go there, we discover new locations great for night photography. More to come!
