November in Cambridge

November is almost over. Here are a few photos taken in Cambridge and a few updates on what's going on. It was a busy month with celebrations, trips and events.

As for night photography, I found out that I will be participating in Gallery Seven's (Maynard, MA) juried exhibition Into the Night with three of my photos. Please mark your calendars and check out Gallery Seven's website!
Exhibition dates: February 28 - April 7, 2012
Reception date: March 3, 7-9pm (snow date: March 10, 7-9pm)

Another show that I'm participating in - Holiday Photography Show at the Gallery at Firehouse Square in New London, CT - opened on November 4, 2011 and will run through December 24, 2011.

I also attended two PRC events: a lecture by night photographer Lynne Seville and Night Night at the PRC with guest host Christian Waeber. Both events were a great opportunity to see (and show) some interesting night photography work.

My photo on KEH calendar cover

KEH Camera just came out with their 2012 calendar. One of my photos, "Cone Shaped Trees 2" is featured as a cover photo and a photo in the month of March. Check it out!

Boathouse

Mid-November, it's cold already. I went out last night to take some pictures in Cambridge. Here's MIT boathouse I've photographed a few times in the past year.

Holiday Photography Show opens today

Hello on a Friday! Holiday Photography Show at the Gallery at Firehouse Square in New London, CT opens today, November 4, 2011 and will run through December 24, 2011. I am participating in it with 6 of my Bodie Ghost Town images.

Three boats

As I mentioned a few days ago, I've started developing my own black and white film at home. I'm beyond excited as this makes my life so much easier! Here is a photo from last night's half an hour photo walk around the block to get a few night photos to try out developing once again. And here you go - three lone boats with Boston skyline in the background.
