Trip to Bodie Ghost Town - part 4

(click here to read previous posts: Trip to Bodie Ghost Town - part 1, part 2, and part 3)

On the third and last night of Bodie the weather was not that good. It rained for a while and once it stopped, the cloud cover was so thick that solely moonlit exposures just simply were not an option. Since adding light was the only way to go, I wanted to try night portraits. Light painting most times is a group effort, and I have to thank Marina and Scott for helping me with these. After I took the "miner with lantern" shot, I was hooked. Marina had the wonderful concept idea for the "fireplace" image, and I just wish we had more time for all of these.

The workshop was great! I hope to come back again. Thanks to Lance and Scott for organizing, and other participants for enthusiasm and open mindedness.
